The court on Friday approved anticipatory bail in three cases filed against him for the May 9 violence following his arrest in the Al Qadir Trust case. The court, while granting bail to the PTI chairman till June 2, also directed him to join the investigation. Talking to reporters after getting bail, the former PM said that he had never seen such action in the last 35 years. It seems as if all civil liberties and all fundamental rights are gone. Now only courts are protecting human rights. He insisted that he would fight ’till the last ball’.
Imran’sी Cases were registered against party workers
Earlier, the Anti-Terrorism Court had ordered Imran Khan to appear on May 19 in a case related to terrorism. The case was registered by the Race Course police in connection with the May 9 violence. The police registered a case against the former prime minister, other PTI leaders and party workers for attacking police teams and burning official property and vehicles outside the Zaman Park residence. Case was registered.
