Imran Khan’s arrest warrant has been canceled by the court. The court canceled the arrest warrant amidst the police search operation at his house and the ruckus of PTI supporters. Now the next hearing in this matter will be on March 30. The court has instructed Imran to be present in the next hearing. While raiding the house of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, the police found a cache of petrol bombs as well as ammunition. Police say that the police were being attacked with these weapons only. Today (March 19) at 3 pm, Imran is going to address the people of Pakistan.
Along with petrol bombs, a large amount of ammunition was also recovered in front of Imran Khan’s house located in Jama Park. He told that bunkers and sandbags were also found on the spot. Police estimate that Imran’s supporters had converted his house into a no-go area.
How the arrest warrant of Imran Khan got canceled
Actually, Imran reached the court on Saturday for the appearance. Along with him, many of his supporters also reached the court, where a clash started between the police and PTI workers. Imran’s supporters started pelting stones at the court premises as well. Seeing the ruckus increasing, Judge Zafar Iqbal gave permission to Imran Khan to go back after marking his presence outside the court.
The police claim that during the operation, the police team was pelted with stones or used slingshots. But even after the clash, the police did not fire a single bullet at any of the protesters. Meanwhile, today (March 19) at 3 pm, Imran is going to address the people of Pakistan. In the Toshakhana case, his address is considered very important amidst the sword of arrest hanging over Imran for the last several days.
