Railway makes new rules from time to time to prevent crimes against women. Indian Railways has issued guidelines to Railway Security Force officials to create a database of incidents of crime against women during the last year.
Railway officials have ordered to keep a close watch on the women coaches. Along with this, full attention will also be paid to the safety of women traveling in other coaches. Keeping an eye on the suspects and along with this there will be frequent visits to sensitive places.
Railway has made these rules
As per section 11 of the Indian Railways Act 1989, if military personnel enter compartments reserved for women, they should be prevented from entering such apartments. They should be advised to travel in normal apartments.
Apart from this, no employee should be allowed to enter trains and railway premises without identification. Along with this, orders have been given to keep a close watch on people watching porn through free WiFi internet services. At the same time, orders were also issued to monitor CCTV feeding in the control room at all times.
