Once again 10 teams are participating in this season. These teams are divided into two groups. Group A consists of Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants. So on the other hand, the teams of Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans are included in Group B.
